My name is Drew Terhall and I am a junior at BGSU. My major is multiplatform journalism and my minor is general business.
I am a sports reporter for Falcon Media, the student media organization on campus. I have written feature stories on multiple BGSU athletes and teams. My main sports have been football, women's basketball and volleyball.
During my time with Falcon Media, I have learned a lot about being a sports reporter. My interviewing skills have grown and I feel like I have grown as a writer after every story I write.
Outside of writing, I also appear on a BGSU sports podcast, The Swoop. Through the podcast, I learned how to better word my thoughts. That helps me with my writing.
I plan to freelance for the Senteniel Tribune over the summer. Through that experience, I hope to strengthen my writing and gain valuable experience that will help me accomplish my goal of becoming a sports reporter.
