This is the page where I will be uploading content. I am a freshman at BGSU and I am majoring in broadcast journalism, with a minor in marketing. I hope to one day become a news reporter. Thank you for taking time to read.
At BGSU, I am involved in a variety of organizations. I am currently a reporter for BG24 News, a video news organization that prepares young students for the workforce. I am very fortunate to say that I have had tremendous leaders who have taught me a great deal of information. I am also involved with the Falcon Forensics, Speech, and Debate team. This organization allows students to compete in a variety of different speaking events. For me, I compete in the After Dinner speech, Media Broadcasting, and also Impromptu speaking. This year, I won the state championship in the Media Broadcasting event as a freshman!
I consider myself to be an extremely hardworking person who will volunteer and take on any challenge that is thrown at me. Since day 1 at BGSU, I have gotten my foot in the door to learn from the experienced, to shadow those to gain knowledge and pick their brains, and to introduce myself to people in the Bowling Green community. As I continue on in my college journey, my hope is that I can continue to grow as a young journalist, challenge myself with a variety of different stories, and make a name for myself.
If you are interested in listening to a NE Ohio sports podcast, check out my podcast, titled "Around The Wire," now on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Earlier this year, our show raised money to help donate to the Stone Foltz Family Foundation, in honor of the recent passing of the BGSU student.
