In these trying times, every one is attempting to fill their time and find new hobbies. Zak Smith and Jacob Sidle, two Bowling Green State University students, decided to start their own sports podcast. Available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, The Smith and Sidle Show covers both professional and collegiate level sports. I got to speak to both students to find out why they started their show.
Bowling Green State University’s Dining Services, like every other public institution right now, is working to do their best to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Rae Barnes, former manager at BGSU’s campus Starbucks, agreed to an interview and says they are not working as hard as they could to do their part to protect the campus community and their workers.

Hi! I’m Amantha Garpiel, I’m a senior at Bowling Green State University this year. I’m majoring in English with a minor in Journalism. I hope to be an editor after graduating, but I’m still really uncertain about my future. I really enjoy reading for fun (I know, I know, who reads for fun when their major is alllll about reading). My adorable cat, Fudge, is so sweet and you’ll probably see him a lot in pictures and in Zoom classes! You can also follow me on Twitter for sarcastic retweets and more pictures of my cat!
