Welcome to my website
Hi, my name is Josh Davis.
I am a Junior here at Bowling Green State University majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Political Science. In addition to that, I am also a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and I have held several positions within the fraternity such as Sports Chair, Public Relations Chair, and I also have served on the recruitment committee. My fraternity has given me lots of opportunities to volunteer and help out in my community as well as taught me many skills that I will eventually apply in my future career.
One day I would like to be a publicist for a major politician and hopefully, after that, run for political office myself. Politics have always been extremely important to me and I have always done my best to try to stay informed on a great variety of political issues. I mostly get my news from https://www.foxnews.com/ and https://www.cnn.com/ because I believe it is important to hear what both sides think about every issue. I think that public relations is extremely vital in politics, especially in our political climate today where fake news has become so prominent.
Some other things that I am passionate about are Cleveland Sports, literally all types of music but especially hip-hop, and r&b, I love Martin Scorsese movies, I really enjoy thrifting, and I fish all the time. This is just a little bit about myself but if you keep up with my posts you will definitely learn a lot more.
Faces of BG Interview
This is my interview with my good friend Mohamed Toure. Mohamed is a Junior at BGSU and he moved from Africa to the United States when he was 13 years old and I think you will find he has a very interesting story and a different perspective on the world we live in. Here is my unedited interview with Mohamed and my edited version is down below.Interview
Audio Story Interview
This is my interview with my friends Jimmy Gavarone and Grace Thumman. Jimmy and Grace have been dating for almost a year now and they are both about to vote in their first presidential election. I was curious to see if their differing political views caused any problems with their relationship and I also wanted to see what they made of the first presidential debate. You can find my interview down below.Interview
As a native of Bowling Green Ohio, I've noticed that a lot of my college friends don't know about some of my favorite spots in Bowling Green. This slideshow will give people that are new to BG an idea of some of the fun things there are to do here in Bowling Green.
Here is my Voice Over Video project which outlines some of BGSU’s plan’s to create a more modern and updated learning environment.
BG city schools have been switched to remote learning so far this year due to COVID-19 and it’s starting to take a toll on the students and their families. Here is my interview with my sister and Bowling Green High School senior, Sarah Davis.
