Mary Ross is currently a second-year English major while also studying Spanish and Sociology as her minors at Bowling Green State University. Although she graduated from high school in the Cleveland area, she recently made the move to Toledo with her family.
Ross currently serves on the BG News Editorial Staff as Forum Editor and on the Key Magazine Editorial Staff as Managing Editor. In addition to these current positions in journalism, she previously was a Public Relations Intern for Bowling Green State University's School of Media and Communications, served as copy editor, reporter and columnist for the BG News and served as an contributing writer for Key Magazine.
Other job credits include Desk Clerk for Founders Hall for BGSU's Office of Residence Life, rotational staff at White Birch Lodge, lifeguard and lifeguard supervisor at the Ellen Trivanovich Aquatic Center and hostess at Coleone's Pizza.
Club Involvement at BGSU include membership in College Democrats, the Honors College and the Honors Learning Community.
Job Recognition includes BGSU Office of Residence Life Staff Member of the Month in September 2019, nomination for BGSU Office of Residence Life Staff Member of the Month in April 2019 and Employee of the Week for White Birch Lodge on August 11, 2018.
Future plans include graduation from Bowling Green State University and applying to various graduate programs across the country to receive her master's and doctorate degrees. Though her ultimate goal is either to work as an editor for a publishing company or work as a writer for a publishing company, Ross one day hopes to take part in the Peace Corps, helping people in developing countries find their way. No matter what direction her career takes, she is excited to find her way in the world some day soon.

Kroger Pricing Game at BGSU Hockey
Sophomore Politics, Philopsophy, Economics and Law (PPEL) and Economics major Nate Halm had the opportunity to participate in the Kroger Pricing Game during the BGSU Hockey game against Northern Michigan University on Saturday, November 26.
