Life of Lauren

Welcome to my web page! Here, you will find a personal statement about me, a picture of me, my resume, and a few promo videos I created with Falcon Media and marketing! Enjoy!

About Me!

My name is Lauren Elizabeth Reese and I am a junior Broadcast Journalism major minoring in Communication at Bowling Green State University. When I graduate, my career goal is to become a talk show and eventually write and produce for my own show. My reasoning for this is that I want to inspire other people and be inspired by others. I want to share what I know and my experiences with others to somehow move them or motivate them to be the best they can be. I also want to use my platform to bring awareness to issues that I am passionate about. For example, I feel very strongly about injustices in our country and issues within minority communities. If I could describe myself in 3 words I would say wise, charismatic, outspoken. Currently, I have two on-campus jobs. For my first job, I am a lifeguard and swim instructor at the Student Recreation Center. My second job is working in the Marketing and Communication Department. For this job, I am responsible for staying up to date on events happening on campus and in the Bowling Green community, interviewing students and faculty, and creating content for the social media pages. I really enjoy both of these jobs because I am surrounded by people who always make my day a little better. Both jobs require me to think outside the box at times and challenge me to become a better person. My hobbies include swimming, golfing, cooking, watching talk shows, talking, listening to music, and watching movies with friends.

ME!

My resume!

There are three things that I aspire to do before I am 25. 1. I want to learn how to braid hair really well. 2. I took Spanish for 6 years in grade school and I aspire to become fluent. 3. Similarly, I took piano lessons for 4 years when I was younger and I aspire to become proficient at that skill as well. My family and friends mean the world to me and I will always have unconditional love for them.
