The new College of Business Building will be opened in Fall 2020. With contributions from Robert W. and Patricia A. Mauer, the addition is part of the campus-wide updates including those made to make the Kuhlin Center in 2016. The projects have costed over $200 million thus far.

The Demise of Traditional Malls

The Woodland Mall in Bowling Green is almost empty, leaving Levis Commons in Perrysburg as the closest option for shopping at BGSU. Lifestyle centers have been taking over the traditional mall’s role in recent years. BGSU Economics professor, Katie Sobota, and BGSU student, Eamon Burke, comment on the shift from traditional malls to lifestyle centers.
