She had the opportunity to travel to Switzerland and Italy during her semester abroad.

Abby sees herself working as a writer/producer for an online media network. Her dream job is to work at a media firm like DEFY Media in New York. After writing different categories of news stories, her writing style aligns with the pop culture stories. While preferring to write entertainment pieces, she has experience with other genres of news. Abby is working on a piece about the dangers of vaping. Currently a junior, she is taking more journalism courses and looking to get more involved in the BG News.

Abby’s interests include: German, fashion, makeup, true crime, pop culture news and sociology. She hopes to starts a makeup or pop culture podcast for her spring semester 2020.
