Stefanie DelRosso is a Junior at Bowling Green State University studying Public Relations with a double minor in Communications and Biology. Stefanie was born in Ithaca, New York and grew up in Middletown, Delaware before moving to Munich, Germany where she spent seven years. She graduated high school from Munich International School in 2017.
When Stefanie started at BGSU she was a Biology Major on the Pre-Med track. While Stefanie is still very passionate about Biology and medicine, she felt that her skills would be more successful in a Journalism PR field which she now studies.
At Bowling Green Stefanie started out as a tour guide her freshman year. In the spring semester of her sophomore year she became a Student Tour Coordinator in the office of admissions. As a Student Tour Coordinator, Stefanie gets to work behind the scenes with the tour guides, scheduling shifts, sending out tours and communicating with guests. She plans on continuing in this position until her graduation date in May of 2021.
In her Sophomore year Stefanie was a part of Falcon Communications, BGSU’s on campus PR firm. Here she wrote feature stories for the BG News and scheduled out social media posts for the BG community to see. She really enjoyed working for Falcon Communications and hopes to continue in the future.
In the fall semester of 2019 Stefanie started her first Public Relations internship with Bob Bortel in the School of Media and Communications at BGSU. In this position as a Public Relations assistant Stefanie writes articles and feature stories for current projects that Bob is working on. Whilst working in this position Stefanie hopes to expand her writing skills and learn more about the world of journalism. She also hopes to find her own writing style and enhance her interview skills to be the most successful she can be come graduation.
