My name is Zachary Creinin, but everyone calls me Chip. It all started in 7th grade when I had just moved to California from Pittsburgh, PA. I wanted to fit in at school since it was a new school for me. My friend who is currently on his mission outside of the county, thought I looked like a chipmunk and the name Chip was born. Fast forward to now as I am a third-year sophomore at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. I am studying broadcast journalism with a minor in communication. I am currently the recruitment director and social media director of the Bowling Green Radio Sports Organization, which broadcasts more game than any other student run organization in the country. I am also a member of the Hillel on campus, which is the Jewish organization on campus. The final extracurricular activity I am a part in is the Ultimate Frisbee club on campus. I am one of the seven active members who were on the team last year. When I have free time from this busy schedule, you can find me playing Magic the Gathering or a board game called Strat-O-Matic hockey (Strat). Strat is one of the few things I turn to when I am stressed in life. It is a sports simulation game that takes the prior years stats for a player and creates a card that then allows you to try to replay the season using real hockey rules. For me my favorite sport is hockey but the main sport for the Strat company is baseball. Other times I am seen hanging out in the convergence lab at the Kuhlin Center and talking with fellow students in my major about sports. I hope you have learned more about me from this.
